We are almost done with 2012.  This was a great year for Electro Soft, Incorporated.  The year is not done yet, we still have many projects on the books for the month.  Here are a few of them:

UPS Cable – Uninterrupted Power Supply Cable

This particular cable plugs into a battery on one end and a system with the other end.  From the looks alone, you can tell that it powers up something big.

Ground Display Cable/Wire

In electronics, the first reference for power is ground.  From there it will increase in voltage.  This is one example of a ground cable.

Expandable Braided Polyester Sleeving

This is another cable/wire assembly.  To be honest, I’m not quite sure what it goes to.  The description provides no clue, but I wanted to point out the fact that we used expandable braided polyester sleeving as opposed to heat shrink on this cable.  While it is more expensive, at times certain environments call for wire protection of this calibre.  Wire protection prevents the wires from chafing and if an internal wire needs to be changed or added, the sleeving offers the ability to make a quick change by sliding the wire in as opposed to heat shrink which you would have to cut off.  Braided sleeving is also not as flexible as heat shrink, so depending on the application, this part is sometimes speced in.

Electro-mechanical assembly

The above picture is just one of many sub-assemblies that will be installed in an electro-mechanical enclosure box build.  The pc board assembly was done on-site.  The boards are now being mounted and assembled before being installed.
